Artwork Requirements

For Domestic Services:

FLAT EMBROIDERY & 3D EMBROIDERY

Artwork Guidelines

Maximum Colors:

  • Up to 8 colors per design.

Artwork File Format:

  • Please submit digitized files in DST or EMB format.

Design Requirements:

  • Avoid gradients, shading, transparency, distressed, or similar effects.
  • Text must be at least 0.25″ high or use a minimum font size of 36pt.
  • For flat embroidery: Avoid details smaller than 1mm, as these may not embroider correctly.
  • For 3D embroidery:
    • All parts of the design must be large, solid color areas.
    • Every design element must be at least 0.25″ wide.
    • Avoid thin lines and small details—they cannot be 3D embroidered.
    • Details smaller than 2mm may result in distortion or closed gaps.

SCREEN PRINTED PLASTISOL HEAT TRANSFER

    Artwork Guidelines

    Maximum Colors:

    • Up to 8 solid colors per design. Using more colors may increase production costs.

    Recommended Design Practices:

    • Use solid color areas and a defined, limited color palette.
    • Clearly separate all artwork layers and distinctly define each color.

    Design Requirements:

    • Avoid gradients, small text, thin lines, and intricate details for best print results.
    • Minimum line thickness: 1pt for all elements and any negative space.

    FULL COLOR DIGITAL PRINT HEAT TRANSFER & FULL COLOR PRINT VINYL HEAT TRANSFER

    Artwork Guidelines

    Colors:

    • Full color printing available.

    Artwork File Requirements:

    • Submit high-resolution files at 300 dpi or higher.
    • Artwork must be in CMYK color mode.

    Important Notes:

    • Digital Heat Transfer:
      • Cannot produce true metallics, true neon colors, or a true black.
      • Black is created from a mix of cyan, magenta, and yellow—resulting in a black that can look grayish or cloudy.
    • Vinyl Heat Transfer:
      • True black is available.
      • Metallic and neon colors cannot be replicated.

    VINYL APPLIQUE HEAT TRANSFER (FASHION-FILM / GLITTER / GLITTER FLAKE)

    Artwork Guidelines

    Maximum Colors:

    • 1 color per design.

    Design Requirements:

    • Avoid gradients, small text, thin lines, and fine details.
    • Minimum line thickness: 1pt for all elements and any negative space.

    FOIL HEAT TRANSFER (GOLD FOIL / SILVER FOIL / ROSE GOLD FOIL)

    Artwork Guidelines

    Maximum Colors:

    • 1 color per design.

    Available Stock Colors:

    • Bright Gold, Rose Gold, Bright Silver, Yellow Gold, Halo Rainbow Silver, Sapphire Blue, Red, Silver Scales, Light Rose, Amethyst, Pink, Copper, Teal, Kiwi, Green, Orange, Coral, Maroon, and Black.
    • Additional foil colors are available with advance notice.

    Design Requirements:

    • Avoid gradients, small text, thin lines, and fine details.
    • Minimum line thickness: 1pt for all design elements and any negative space.

    TPU THERMAPRINT (MATTE / METALLIC / CHROME)

    Artwork Guidelines

    Maximum Colors:

    • Up to 6 solid colors per design. Using more colors may increase production costs.

    Recommended Design Practices:

    • Use only solid color areas and a well-defined color palette.
    • Clearly separate all artwork layers and distinctly define each color.

    Design Requirements:

    • Avoid gradients, small text sizes, thin lines, and fine details.
    • Minimum line thickness: 1pt for all elements and any negative space.

    PATCH (EMBROIDERY / SUBLIMATED / WOVEN / PVC)

    Artwork Guidelines 

    File Types Accepted:

    • Vector: .EPS, .AI, .PDF
    • Raster: .TIFF, .JPG (at 300 DPI or higher)

    Embroidered & Woven Patches

    • Maximum Colors: 8
    • Design Requirements:
      • Avoid gradients, shading, transparency, distressed, and similar effects.
      • Text must be at least 0.25″ high (minimum font size 36pt at final patch size).
      • Avoid design elements smaller than 1mm for flat embroidery and 2mm for 3D embroidery—smaller details may distort or close up.
      • For 3D embroidery: Only large, solid color areas. Each element at least 0.25″ wide. Thin lines or small details cannot be rendered in 3D.

    Sublimated Patches

    • Colors: Full color (no limit)
    • Artwork Requirements:
      • Provide high-resolution files (300 DPI or higher) in CMYK color mode.

    PVC Patches

    • Maximum Colors: 4
    • Design Requirements:
      • Avoid gradients, small text, thin lines, and fine details.
      • All lines and negative space must be at least 1pt thick.
      • Use solid color areas and a defined color palette.
      • Clearly separate artwork layers and clearly define all colors.
      • Using more than 4 colors may increase production costs and is not recommended.
